my wedding philosophy and pricing
It's never lost on me that hiring a wedding photography means entrusting someone to capture one of the most poignant and important memories of your and your partner's life, which is why I approach weddings with careful and proactive planning, extensive communication with all parties involved, and the desire to understand your and your partner's vision for your photos and for the day as a whole. I understand the stress of planning a wedding and want to mitigate as much anxiety as possible surrounding photos of the day by being prepared, level-headed, and positive! I approach weddings with the intention of capturing all the unique details of the love among families and between partners, so I provide lots of candids in addition to staged photos. I have shot multiple weddings over the past three years, both inside and outside and both intimate and large, and feel confident in my ability to gather and pose large groups of people!
What determines the price of my wedding photography package?
The basic $1500 rate for the wedding includes:
- The wedding day photography coverage itself and the 9-11 day turnaround rate for print release and digital delivery of entire gallery (I also send previews as I edit!)
- Virtual (or in person) consultations with you, your wedding planner, and anyone else I should talk to (e.g. the maid of honor, the videographer, etc.) in the months leading up to the wedding regarding your vision, preferences, and customizations
- Personalized wedding day photography plan, photo list, and collaborative Pinterest board
- My camera and equipment rental cost
Additional costs:
- My travel cost (flight, rideshare, etc.) if the wedding is not located in the Boston/Eastern MA area.
- $200 per additional hour over 6 hours of photography coverage.
